Close, Fulham hit the bar twice but Louis Saha scored for Everton from some really shoddy defending. Fulham will look back on this match as 3-points dropped.

Portsmouth 1 - 2 Wigan Athletic

Uh-oh... Not a great start for Tony Adams.

Stoke City 2 - 1 Arsenal
