A Little Piece of Randumb

Guys, I'm going to need some help.

I have decided to participate in NaNoWriMo; National Novel Writing Month for those of you that have been living in a rock.

Long story short, I need to write at least 1667 words a day, every day, in the month of November.

I will therefore need... People to hole me up.

And make sure that I write. I'm not joking. Even if this entails taking away my candy :D

And when I'm done, to laugh at my bad writing and tell me how craptacular the whole plot is and make me wallow in pain.

Any takers? Jing Min, I'm looking at you? (:

Hmmm...???

.....Keeping a schedule like that is frankly a pretty dumb and bad idea.

For one, you're not going to have every single day to write that amount of words. And then let's assume you go ahead and do so anyway, you'll probably end up with a drop in quality producing what I can only describe as an unreadable piece of shit.

Yeah, sure, they're looking for quantity over quality, but you don't want to lower your standards just because of that, do you?

My advice. Write only when you're in the right zone/mood/whateverfuckall. Better quality, and less guaranteed to suck.

Hello kgan! :D I don't know you but what I was planning to do was write it out, then edit it later on. Most first drafts of authors end up pretty crappy, then they get good when the authors go back and edit them... This is basically a way for me to sit myself down and actually finish something because I never do.

I will, however, only do quality editing when I feel like it instead of forcing myself to.

But thanks (:

Hmm, how did you find our blog btw?

Do you need to know how I found it?

No.

Oh, but what's that? You do?

Simpler question.

Do I care if you do?

Nope.

Either way, what you have planned does work, I guess, though just as a general warning, it's going to be a pain in the ass writing everything down and then editing it. Edit it bit by bit. You'll be much happier if you do.

Haha I was just curious. :]

Thanks for the advice anyway. ^^

Kgan - my take is that while yes, you do produce better quality work during times of inspiration - depending on what your life is like at the time, these can be few and far between.

NaNoWriMo is about getting it all down and editing later. Because you can always edit later, but you can't always get everything you want down.

Anyway, WY, my child - I'll be online lots to supply you with motherly advice and cracking the whip since I too must write, write, write.

xoxo

Yeah, whatever.

I just like helping 'special people'.

And I don't mean that in a nice way.

HEE HEE HEE

ladies and gentlemen, and presenting our FIRST STALKER! hahaha Since his profile is inaccessible and all. Tsk tsk.

Nice meeting you :)

An inaccessible profile helps to keep idiots out, and stop them from spamming you. Much like what I'm doing now, actually.

Life is funny like that.

And people funnier still. But then, humor is one of those many-faced concepts no one can ever truly agree on. Just as many people twist their faces in disgust at the silly rabbit who blows himself as there are people who laugh at the same sight.

Yes, I think alot. How ever did you guess?

I think its Panit in disguise. Haha what do you guys think?
