Let's relate Panit's experience.
Mrs. Junges: Decris ta vie sociale. (Describe your social life)
Me (rudely intervening): Il n'a pas de la vie sociale (He doesn't have a social life)
Panit (probably does not understand what is going on): *silence*
Mrs. Junges: Awwww, pauvre Panit! (Poor Panit)
Kai Sheng: Demandez-lui de sa petite amie. (Ask him about his girlfriend)
Panit: Je n'ai pas d'une petite amie. (I don't have a girlfriend)
Me: *YEAH RIGHT*
Mrs. Junges: Racontez-moi de tes amis. (Tell me of your friends)
Me (rudely intervening): Il n'a pas d'amis. (He doesn't have any)
Panit: Je vais - (I am going- )
Me (rudely intervening): - au centre commercial avec mes amis... ( - to the shopping mall with my friends)
Panit: - a la plage aves mes amis. (to the beach with my friends)
Mrs. Junges: Tes amis sont vrais ou imaginaires? (Your friends, they are real or imaginary?)
Panit: .... imaginaires (....imaginary)
Me: Panit est mechant! (Panit is mean)
Mrs. Junges: Pourquoi? (Why?)
Kai Sheng: Parce qu'il se moque tes amis, surtout les filles. (Because he makes fun of his friends, especially the girls)
Mrs. Junges: Comment? (How?)
Me: Il me dit que je suis courte! (He says I am short!)
Mrs Junges: Tout ce qui est petit est mignon! (All that is small is cute!) et tout ce qui est grande est... *something*on (and everything that is big is _____; she would not say it because it was a bad word)
So yes.
That's what we do in French class.
HAHHAH!!! I miss those types of lessons... When we attempt to make fun of each other... and when she starts talking about food *dreams*... HAHHAHAHA!
I like your French teacher.
*JM and WY are passing French classroom*
Wei Yun: Sarah has been teaching me French! SANDWIC DU FROMAGE!
Teacher: Sorchisors! (SPELLING?! LOL) Saucission
It's saucisson you fool.
Anyway the reason for that is because one time during oral practice I said "The man is drowning his sausages in alcohol" instead of "sorrows"
Hey soucis and saucis almost the same la k...
But the difference in meaning... Oh so great.
